I think we now all know how important it is to see yourself in images, whether those are ads or reality series. The fact that we only needed to be OURSELVES in this campaign and do what we always do as a group: have fun, be with each other, check in with each other and support one another, was a big deal breaker for me. It is important to me to bring more pictures of Queer people out, because there is not one way to be Queer. All of us pictured are bis*xual, and none of us looks the same. When I found this group of friends I was blown away, because before meeting them I only had one friend that sometimes slept with other women, but didn’t necessarily saw herself as bi. Being bi is part of an identity that is stripped away immensely because of numerous reasons, but mostly because people never truly believe it when they see someone that doesn’t fit the monos*xual norm. To have friends that have the same experiences with being bi and the struggles that go with it, is so important. The feeling of Pride is also not only finding unity in the struggles that we experience, but also in how we accept each other as we are. It is so much fun to discuss dates and not feel judged. Yes you can be bi and slutty, just as you can be in a serious relationship without cheating. It is entirely up to you babes.
